Tourist House - Florence

Hotel location is great, at walking distance to the train station and main historic sites.

the hotel is very near to duomo and city visit.

bathroom has some kind of smell, and towel are like bed sheets.

The lady at reception was lovely and explained very well in English the fact it wasn't staffed all the time. Extremely helpful and lovely! The room was huge and had an extra single bed in even though we had only booked a double. Bathrom was good and clean. The Tourist house is in a perfect location, 5 mins away from the station and the town centre and has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. They also offer a secure room to leave your bags after you check out if you want to have look round before you heave your luggage away, was extremly impressed and this was the best of the five different hotels we stayed in whilst in Italy.

Nothing, this place is great.

Even though I was arriving late past check in time, it was no problem for the hotel. Tehy supplied me with a telephone number to call to get the code to the front door and advised I could check in the next morning. When we arrived reception actually ended up being open and so we were able to check in there and then.

The bed was pretty ucomfortable (major roll together - Room 3), and so I wouldn't recommend it for more than a night or two, but it was excellent value and perfect for what we wanted.

It was simple but with everything that I could have wanted while my stay. The owner's are very affectionate. We got more than what we paid for. The location is awesome. We loved our stay here and would go back to this hotel whenever we visit Florence again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided us with a free map of Florence and even circled some places to go. The room was clean.

If I had to say something it would be that the beds weren't that comfortable.

The stay at Tourist House was great, especially the young girl at the reception, she was really helpfull and told us alot about Florence and what to see. the room was traditional and gorgerous, a slice of italy! i would strongly recommend anyone to stay here, it was also in a perfect location, esay walking to all the sites and lots of great food everywhere. overall a great stay, thankyou tourist house :-)

Its quite and peaceful.

Our staying at hotel was great! The best location - near the bus- and train stations; spacious room and bathroom with shower, hairdryer and even bidet. We had many areas to place our things. We had keys from our room and from central entry, so we could go and return anytime. Last day we left our luggage in a special room after check-out. We stayed at room 5, it had 1 window in a nice quiet yard with a great magnolia tree and fontain. All the time it was very cosy and quiet.

The location is good. 2 minute walk from the Firenze snm train station. And it is good to have private bathroom in the room.

The towels are just like bed sheets or paper.>.<

Good location, friendly staff, large room.

The hotel took advance of money from the card prior to arrival. After check out we paid full price. Now we are waiting when prepayment will be returned.

Great location (close to train station and city centre), friendly and helpful desk staff and the room we stayed in was very large and spacious for the price.

The lighting in the room wasn't fantastic - tough to see after the sun went down.

The Hotel is located near the Main shopping area in Florence and close by two main attractions. Reception service is not available after 7 pm, in-case you are checking-in after 7 pm, you need to tell the hotel in advance. So that they will give you an access code with which you can enter the hotel and do the check-in next day morning.

It's a very old building. There are no hotel staff available after 7 pm. Bathroom/Toilet is very small. The flush in the toilet was making some noise. Break fast is very limited.
